'The treatment given to children is what they will later give to society' (Karl Menninger)

What kind of work do you do?

I mainly do image-based work, whether it’s illustration or photography.

Do you make images on demand?

Yes, in fact, it is the main way I have to create images, although I also have images ready to acquire use licenses.

How to get your pieces?

It is as simple as writing an email and requesting a license to use the image that best matches what you are looking for.

How much does each of your images cost?

It all depends on the use that will be given to the images and whether it is a job on demand. Tell me your case.

How long does it take to have a finished project?

It depends on the size of the project and if it is an image available from the gallery or one created on demand. In the latter it also depends on how clear we have the image we want to reach.

What kind of images are available?

All images within the galleries are available for you to use in your project (both illustrations and photographs).

What process do you follow to create your images?

The first thing is that you write me an email. In the mail I will need all the information you think is necessary to help me create the image you are looking for: reference and inspiration images, color ranges, final texts, number of pages, general ideas and any detail that you think may be necessary for me to understand what you want to achieve.

What do you need to start?

So that you don’t forget anything, I leave you a pdf so you can see the technical needs for the project. Please try to be concise and send the least number of files, otherwise it may backfire.

I have written but received no response ...

Don’t worry, if you have written to me and have not received an answer it is because I still have not been able to. I am not a machine but as soon as I can I will answer you.

Do you have printed parts for sale?

Do you make websites?

How long does it take to have a finished project?

No, but I work with trustworthy people who do and I work with them often.

Can I share your work on my website?

Obviously yes, as long as your website is an art-related, non-profit page. It must also be duly accredited (with my name and my website). I would appreciate it if you could email me with a link.

Are your pieces copyrighted?

My work is not free. Each and every part on this website is subject to explicit permission to be used. Any inappropriate use of my images will result from a legal process. Please, if you see any website with images of me without accreditation, I would appreciate it if you could write to contacto@josemariapicon.es. Thank you!
